I sparkle, glisten, and shine in the light
I do not stop to sleep at night
To some I create a natural beauty
I am a call to arms for a laborious duty
I can be stepped on, sculpted, eaten or thrown
I cannot see or run or be available to own
I often stay for days or weeks
Children rush to me for their first peeks
To many, I am personally unknown
Except perhaps within a cone
You will be cold and wet after we play
I am a sight to see on Christmas Day
