I do not believe in love at first sight. I once believed love at first sight was not a figment or an improper term for a spontaneous desire for another human being. Experience has proved love at first sight to be appropriate for movies, books, and fairy tales, as the author of “What’s Love Got to Do with It?” mentions. It is a fun concept for readers and dreamers. Unfortunately, love at first sight no longer exists in the reality in which I live. There was no tragic ending of a relationship involving love at first sight in my life that made me dispute it. I have just experienced love without sight and loving blindly. Those relationships did not work out well, so I assume if there is love at first sight, it would not have a happy ending. I think it’s related to puppy love.
