The “Loud Crowd” is a group of spirited Hargrave High school students and alumni who attend all possible sporting events for Hargrave. From making t-shirts and putting up signs in the halls, to tailgating before games, the Loud Crowd is always there. The Loud Crowd was started three years ago by many students from the classes of 2008 and 2009 at a varsity volleyball game. All the students got together and made chants that got the players excited and ready to play. Every single play that went on during that game had its own chant. Once volleyball season ended, the Loud Crowd started preparing for the next sport to come along. At every football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, and track event, the spirited students of the Loud Crowd can be heard from anywhere in the sporting venue.
