Definition: Bravery

To me bravery is being the only one who knows you’re afraid, the ability to restrain fear and act accordingly. Many people see the act of bravery as only putting yourself in danger, but bravery can be shown in everyday life. If someone were brave enough to stand up to disagree with something when nobody else would then that would be an example of bravery. If someone is too scared to stand up for what they believe in that would be a good example for someone who is not brave. To be brave is to put aside your feelings and do what is right at any moment without second-guessing. A person is not born brave; it takes life lessons to achieve bravery.
