Whenever I am entertaining a day at the park, the surrounding I encounter is so serene and tranquil that my memory bank tends to erase all stressful and negative thoughts for the short time I am there. To be able to relax such an organ like the brain that is in continuous use, for me, is peacefulness. For a few moments out of the day it can focus on relaxing and not triggering chemical reactions or muscle movements as it is created to do. An outdoor setting specifically helps me achieve this level of relaxation. The wind whistling through the trees, the squirrels chasing one another and fighting over acorns, and the sunlight reflecting over the swaying grass instantly provokes positive emotions, resulting in peace.
