Freed from normality, never going back

All my life I’ve struggled with the looming idea that what ever I do is not quite good enough, and whoever I become is not quite interesting enough. As I walk through Mabee dorm or the “world famous bean” I see hundreds of interesting people, all people who have been beautifully and wonderfully crafted by God and I am comforted to know that I am a part of this student body. I am an person who was hand crafted from the dust, just like my peers. As I look at my fellow students and think of the amazing roles that they have the privilege of playing in the story of God, I rejoice because I am a part of this body. I know that my story, though it may seem boring if see through eyes that can only see a lifetime long, is only playing a role in an incredibly interesting and beautiful one.
